Poetry and Pressed Flowers Class-Thursday, Nov. 14th – 7 p.m. at 5 Loaves Farmhouse

(6 customer reviews)

$60.00$90.00

At this class you’ll learn how to make a wall hanging using beautifully pressed flowers and a poem of your choice.  I’ll provide all the supplies, including the engraved wood frames.

This project will be a wonderful work of art for you to enjoy or even give as a gift this holiday.  All you have to do is email me the poem (or song lyrics, etc.) you want to use and I’ll print it for you in a format similar to what is pictured (typewriter font, wide margins).

All poems must be sent by Friday, November 8th, so I have time to format and print them. Please consider that the longer your poem is, the less room you’ll have for flowers.  If your poem is too long, I recommend using an excerpt of no more than 16 lines.

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

I had a fun time meeting other creative women in the community. The flowers were locally grown and sourced. it was a great value for the money, and I came home with art that I was proud to hang on my wall. I would recommend as a fun activity with friends, a date, or bringing your daughter to one of the workshops. Long live Nickle City Floral.

Christy is an excellent teacher, instructing us about working with fragile flowers and how to handle them correctly.
The project was well planned out and Christy was able to assist when needed.
The women who attended this class were all so creative and helpful to one another.
I have never made anything like this before and it was not too difficult.
I would highly recommend this class and look forward to future projects.
Thank you, Christy for the great night exploring my creative side.

I had a wonderful time at this class! Christy gave everyone helpful instructions at the beginning and then provided individualized input about flower selection and grouping if we wanted it. She had a huge variety of locally-grown dried flowers for us to work with, and I enjoyed learning about the flowers from her and some of the women sitting at my table. This was a great opportunity to be creative and spend time with people–and it was fun to see everyone’s unique artwork at the end!
